Remember it's not always about how you look; it's about how you feel !
- choose to exercise when the temperature is usually cool,be it morning or evening. Workout every other day to let your body reset in between.do what You're comfortable with.
- clothes.wear lightweight,light coloured and loose fitted clothes which prevent chafing and helps to keep your body cool.
- when you work outdoors choose a shady place .Avoid stepping out in the sun when it's extreme heat .step out before 10 am - 3 pm.
- Take cold showers.A German study has shown that taking a cold shower before exercise works wonders and this is not a bad idea at all.
- Stay hydrated this will prevent symptoms like dizziness,stomach cramps ,and headaches which you may experience from the workout .Drink plenty of water (at least 6-8 glasses of water a day) fresh juices but cut downs all kinds of soda or sugary beverages.
- watch your food intake . protein, carbs and healthy fats are all important ,but fibre intake is also something you need to take seriously this summer Apart from promoting heart , foods rich in finer make you fuller and makes you eat less per meal.
